Brunel Centre support homeless shelter in creating work experience opportunities

Booth House is one of the key homeless shelters in Swindon.  I spoke to the general manager at Brunel Centre about help that they could give and arranged a series of meetings.  Brunel Centre was keen to develop a form a work placements across the key retailers within the centre itself, using all the anchor tenants - a form of multi- party work placement involving The Brunel, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury and Waterstones.

Kevin visited the Brunel Centre and has decided to support both work placements and also lending his commercial expertise to help with the marketing and promotion of the two social enterprises.  In time, providing the social enterprise agrees, Kevin has also decided to offer a empty shop unit for a static display of the bicycles on offer at Recycles, to improve public awareness of the shop and its location.
